The Vidya Higher Education and Development Council (VHEDC) has launched the Postgraduate Scholarship Program to support meritorious and deserving students who wish to pursue a master’s degree in India.
This program goes beyond financial assistance. It offers mentorship from industry leaders, professional development workshops, research guidance, and career support — enabling scholars to achieve academic excellence and become catalysts for innovation and social change.

Science & Technology – M.Sc., M.Tech, MCA, PG Diploma in Computer Applications, Data Science, AI, Cybersecurity, Biotechnology, Renewable Energy.
Arts & Social Sciences – MA, MSW, MLIS, M.Ed, PG Diploma in Journalism, Social Work, Foreign Languages, Counselling Psychology.

The Postgraduate Scholarship Program provides:

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Postgraduate Scholarship Program, the applicant must:
Be an Indian citizen.
Have completed an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA).
Have secured admission (or be in the process of securing admission) to a recognized postgraduate program in India.

Application Process
Steps for Apply:
Online Registration
Complete the application form on the VHEDC website.
Document Submission
Upload the following:
Undergraduate mark sheets and degree certificate.
Proof of admission to a postgraduate course (if available).
Income certificate.
Aadhaar card or other valid ID proof.
Personal statement (500–1,000 words) describing your academic journey, career goals, and reasons for applying.
For research-based programs: A short proposal (300–500 words) outlining your intended research topic.
Screening & Shortlisting
Applications will be evaluated on merit, financial need, and personal statement quality.
Interview
Shortlisted candidates will attend an interview (online or offline).
Award Announcement
Selected candidates will receive a scholarship award letter and onboarding guidelines.
